The social drama, written and directed by Ehsan Nasri, will vie for a €3,000 award at the 8th edition of the Spi Stories filmfest.
‘Inner Love’ is a musical short film with no dialogue. It tells the story of a labor child’s life who is kind, self-giving and loves life despite all of its difficulties.
Nasri’s film will make its debut screening at the Italian film event this year.
Spi Stories is the annual competition of short films. This year, the topic of the competition is about poverty, lowering of incomes, unemployment, growing obstacles to access to good instruction and health care.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the 8th edition of the festival will go virtual in August.
